In September 2026, Threejs-Punk appeared on the three.js homepage.
What it means to me #
The homepage is full of impressive demos and sites. Seeing a game, free, multiplayer, running on phones, take a place there is the part that moves me. It is built from an open-source library, a lot of measuring, and the TSL work I did with Sunag.
The weeks around it #
- The game became the FWA Site of the Day on October 3.
- A few weeks earlier, I was in Paris at the first Three.js conference.
If you want to see how it is made #
The performance and pipeline posts are a good place to start: the city generated from an image and the occlusion culling. You can play at threejspunk.com, and the project is on its project page.
