Endurance Racing (Project Endurance) is a free racing game for the browser. Drive and drift a GT3 car around a rain-soaked Nürburgring while the light changes from dawn to night, with a radio of synthwave and classical music, on desktop and mobile.
Free Drive is the whole circuit and its pit lane. Challenges unlock new cars and a garage changes their paint and finish. On desktop, Rescue is one lap against a four-minute clock to get a doctor to a crash, with a helicopter calling every hazard; Photo Run puts eight photographers on the lap and replays it with broadcast cameras; Echo turns your own past laps into hologram traffic you must pass without touching. Online, five public rooms take up to four drivers each, every one shown as a hologram of their real car.
Under the hood: Three.js on WebGPU with TSL, a Rapier vehicle with a tire and drivetrain model, GPU rain and wet asphalt with live reflections, and a circuit whose barriers are checked by an audit of thousands of test launches. The launch film was filmed from the real game, frame by frame, at 4K. It grew out of the Threejs-Punk codebase.
