A sports car driving through a rain-soaked neon city at night, one of six free browser games featured on FoundPlay

Some news I am very happy to share: I am a featured creator on FoundPlay.

What FoundPlay is #

FoundPlay is a site for free games that run in the browser. The games are hosted by their creators, not by the site, and new ones are added every day, at 6 AM and 6 PM Pacific Time. There are collections, a way to submit your own game and a Discord community. It is exactly the kind of place I wanted my games to live: no install, no account, one link.

The six games on my page #

  • Threejs-Punk Drive: night driving through a rainy neon city, with missions and multiplayer for up to four players.
  • Lantern Valley: a cozy game of farming, fishing and pet care, with a day-to-night cycle. FoundPlay marks it as the place to start.
  • Graveyard Pinball: 3D pinball on a haunted graveyard table, with coffin slingshots and a skull crypt portal.
  • Awaken Your Relic: a small fan mini-game about charging a forge and hitting sparks in order. See the Forge Awakens post.
  • Odd & Out: two aliens rebuild their crashed ship on floating islands, solo or with a friend.
  • Slice Tilt: pinball on a pizza cut into four tables.

Most of them are phone-friendly, which was a design goal from the start, and a few are multiplayer.

Why it matters to me #

Every one of these games started as a technical question: can WebGPU do this in a tab, on a phone? Being featured next to other indie games, by people who play and curate them, is a different kind of recognition from a tutorial view or a GitHub star. It means someone played.

Everything is free. The page is at foundplay.io/creators/andersonmancini, and the games are also on the projects page.
