Predator Material project preview

A technical demo of custom, physically-based glass/transmission materials in React Three Fiber — built with WebGPU and TSL as a fully procedural MeshPhysicalNodeMaterial.

On hover, the Predator’s opaque skin morphs in real time into a transmissive cloaked material, spreading from a shader-driven dissolve grid with fresnel rim light, shimmer and animated scan-line rings — all on the GPU via node-based shaders, not string GLSL.

Two material worlds blend per-pixel: textured PBR and dielectric glass, driven by UV-grid or expanding-ring masks. A live parameters panel exposes transmission, IOR, dispersion, iridescence and more. Open source and free to explore.
