A professional DSLR camera rendered in 3D under studio lighting with glass reflections, a concept landing page

This one still makes me smile. It was not a client project and not an official release: it was a concept I built to show what three.js can do for premium camera storytelling, and in October 2022 it was featured on the three.js homepage.

Why it matters #

Concept work is how you learn to make the real thing. A page like this has studio lighting, glass reflections and a hero render that has to hold up at close range, which are exactly the problems a hardware launch brings. Seeing it alongside production-grade showcases told me that concept work on the open web is welcome.

What it is #

A product landing page for a Canon 5D Mark IV, with the camera in 3D, built for the kind of page brands dream about for hardware launches. The technical story is in the launch post.
