Hi everyone!
I just released Slice Tilt, a free browser pinball game where the table is a round pizza cut into four slices.
The idea
Each slice is a complete pinball table with its own theme, rules and music: forest (archery camp), factory, castle and town. Only the slice facing you is alive. Finish its objective, send the ball into the oven at the center of the pizza, and the whole pizza rotates 90° to wake up the next table. The hub is the rotation axis, so there is no teleport: the ball goes in, the pizza turns around it, and the ball comes out of the next slice.
Tech
- three.js (r186) with the WebGPU renderer and TSL, plus a WebGL 2 fallback
- React Three Fiber + drei
- Rapier2D for the physics. The simulation is 2D and the 3D scene only draws it. Each slice has its own physics world, and only the front one is simulated while the others keep the ball asleep.
