In **September 2026**, [Threejs-Punk](https://andersonmancini.dev/blog/threejs-punk-racing-game.md) appeared on the [three.js homepage](https://andersonmancini.dev/blog/threejs-org-homepage-featured-projects.md).

## What it means to me

The homepage is full of impressive demos and sites. Seeing a **game**, free, multiplayer, running on phones, take a place there is the part that moves me. It is built from an open-source library, a lot of measuring, and the TSL work I did with [Sunag](https://github.com/sunag).

## The weeks around it

- The game became the [FWA Site of the Day](https://andersonmancini.dev/blog/threejs-punk-fwa-site-of-the-day.md) on October 3.
- A few weeks earlier, I was in Paris at the [first Three.js conference](https://andersonmancini.dev/blog/three-js-conf-paris-2026.md).

## If you want to see how it is made

The performance and pipeline posts are a good place to start: [the city generated from an image](https://andersonmancini.dev/blog/threejs-punk-city-from-an-image.md) and [the occlusion culling](https://andersonmancini.dev/blog/threejs-punk-occlusion-culling.md). You can play at [threejspunk.com](https://threejspunk.com/), and the project is on its [project page](https://andersonmancini.dev/projects/threejs-punk.md).
