How do you render a room made of an enormous number of small things? Humans Since is a kinetic clock house, and it was produced in WebGL to demonstrate **dynamic rendering of massive object counts**.

## The trick: localized LOD

It uses **localized LOD**: only the objects inside the camera's view radius stay visible. That way billions of triangles in the scene can be handled efficiently, because the device only pays for what is near the camera.

Custom shaders and additional effects round out the experience.

## Try it

The demo is live at [hs-clocks-house.vercel.app](https://hs-clocks-house.vercel.app/), and the details are on the [project page](https://andersonmancini.dev/projects/humans-since.md).
