A configurator has to render the object well **and** stay light enough to change it on the fly. Fun Wheel was a demo I made in 2023 to show what Three.js and React Three Fiber can do for **configurable objects** in real time.

## What it features

- **real-time reflections**,
- **ambient occlusion**,
- **global illumination**,
- **configurable materials**,
- strong performance, and an engaging soundtrack throughout.

## The idea

A small, polished case: one object, a few controls and the rendering quality that makes a configurator feel like a product. The steering wheel configurator from [another project](https://andersonmancini.dev/projects/wheel-customizer.md) applies the same approach to a real product.

## Try it

The demo is live at [mancini-renderer.vercel.app](https://mancini-renderer.vercel.app/), and the details are on the [project page](https://andersonmancini.dev/projects/fun-wheel.md).
